I don't know...the idea of Jed Hoyer being fired as soon as possible does not strike fear into the heart of this Cubs fan.
I mean, if your plan is to cut corners and never do a big deal at least hire someone who is good at that who has won before.

The Cubs have added OF Owen Caissie and IF Ben Cowles to the 40-man roster, protecting them from the Rule 5 draft.
To make room on the 40-man, RHP Adbert Alzolay and OF Brennen Davis have been designated for assignment.
