The funniest thing about last week’s Foundation episode is how they made a whole-ass GALLON of mushroom tea just to give Brother Day one tiny cup. Then left the rest boiling for no apparent reason. Now that’s how you abuse your drugs.

I can’t say enough good things about Murderbot on Apple. I had no expectations coming into it, I wasn’t familiar with the source material, but it was both funnier and more meaningful than I would have guessed. Give it a shot!

I know it’s a long shot, but does anyone in LA have a DVD of either version of The Lathe of Heaven? Either the 1980 or 2002 version? It’s not streaming anywhere and I’m curious to see how it was adapted.

Is everyone suffering from insomnia these days? I know my sleep is way down, and everyone I talk to is saying the same. Is it just the state of the country, and the world that’s causing it?

It’s always difficult for me to celebrate after finishing a script. Partly because I know it’s not really done ‘til the credits roll. Partly because I miss living vicariously through my characters. But mostly I worry I’ll never be able to write as good a script again. I always do. But I still worry.

If I had to say one good thing about this current administration, it’s that it’s become really easy to lose weight. Most of my life it’s been a struggle not to gain, but now the pounds are coming off like nothing.
