As for today's: Bandits begging face has picked up tricks from his border collie uncle. He stares intensely at you, which manages to make him look like a disapproving grandfather.

When Hela really wants something she will stare at you and just put her bottom jaw to show off her lower teeth. This looks can have varying levels of effect depending on if she has her normal scruffy bangs, her hair tied up, or a proper haircut.

It's been a while since I've done a sketch just to sketch, and not as a part of a larger project. Today I did a couple sketches of my dogs Hela and Bandit from memory. But with their hair done rather than left floppy like in real life, so their eyes can be seen xD

I've got a horrible habit of jumping between projects CONSTANTLY. if I'm on a singular project for too long I find I lose track and burn out faster. For the past two months I've been focusing on my writing and jumping between stories to write and edit the stories. Both original and fanfiction.

Sneak peak at a long term project I have been working on. It's not connected to my doll (who is getting her outfits finalized and seen together, dog still being painted) but has been occurring simultaneously.

Art update: While her eyes look chunky up close, they look pretty decent when she's just sitting there normally. Now to make her some new clothes, and then fix up her hair.

I've been using Sims to fight artist block. Going through and editing houses based on Neighborhood stories (adding rooms, editing, giving pet supplies), and then editing outfits and house stories. I also went in and made the empty lots into something for each neighborhood!

I finished editing and re-doing chapter 3/20 on a novel I've been working on for like 5 years due to constant updates. The most recent change is a response to a beta reader from years ago after accepting they're right. The chapter structure was too confusing, so I gotta overhaul it.

one day I'll have a smooth art process with no gaps. Maybe sometime this month, but at least my art's still trucking! Just taking a bit to tweak everything where I want it and practicing patience.
