After hanging out every day for two and a half weeks with an 85 year old, I now love Columbo.

I went outside to try to show you how Alaskan dark is darker than lower 48 dark. So dark it seems hostile. Instead, the aurora was truly tripping the light fantastic. Sometimes it's subtle in shifting but it was a twinkle toes tonight. And on a full moon!

When I was a kid the Anchorage area always had a thick blanket of snow by Halloween, we usually had to wear winter jackets over our costumes. Now the greenery is still green and moose can keep fattening up for winter, should it ever arrive.

Overall I liked Alien: Earth, ❤️ this line. Hated how shortly after this they had the Black woman soldier-type character Siberian do the most obviously dumb thing with no explanation, followed by a cliche & capped with a continuity error, for which she (spoiler alert!!!!!!!) paid the ultimate price.
