Concentration camps are just prisons that operate outside a judicial system. The US is denying many of the people they arrest due process and then disappearing them into a series of for-profit labor systems. Seems like concentration camps to me.

The biggest thing for me is the fact that militaries are barred from suing them in combat, so wth are we allowing them to be used on civilians?? Especially when we just don’t know what the long term effects are, let alone protesters who are repeatedly exposed.

Particularly on the reproductive aspect too and how women are affected long term. But also how run-off affects wildlife, etc—We just do not know enough about these weapons to be using them on civilians.

There a couple different gases/chemicals, CS is just one of them—and there is general consensus that while immediate effects are known and well documented, research on the full scope/duration of tear gas's long-term health effects, particularly for diverse groups, is surprisingly lacking.

Did you know that US police get trained by the IDF? Or that tear gas is banned from use in combat situations and there’s no conclusive long term studies into the health effects of these chemical weapons on the general public? So much to know now these days.

We have cleaned up the crime scene and blocked a local investigation and hidden the perpetrator and invaded the state and that is how you know that we are acting in good faith and that everything was the victim’s fault.

For some that’s a few hundred, for others it’s a few thousand. There’s a formula or whatever to figure it out and ofc it’s obscure and difficult and makes u feel like you’re taking a stab in the dark. I get why some ppl aren’t comfy doing it. But I wish more of us would. Starve the machine.

I didn’t realize until speaking with an accountant that the US fed tax system is a pay-as-you-go system. IRS expects us to pay a minimum amt quarterly and so by withholding the minimum ($1 per pay check) or filing exempt ($0), that min isn’t met and you get penalized based on your income bracket.

Yes I’ve been told the only risks are the quarterly min payment penalties. No legal risks. I’m hoping with the interest the savings acct will generate I’ll break even. Either way, I’m happy to face a small penalty for the disruption and obstinance and get to hold onto my money during uncertain times

I think we should all withhold. I just changed my withholding to $1 (the bare minimum without filing exempt). I’d rather risk the quarterly underpayment fees than give my hard earned money biweekly to a bunch of traitorous pdfs. I’ll set it aside in a high yield savings acct and assess my options

The executive branch of our federal government has gone off the rails and is actively betraying the people it claims to serve. They are all traitors, every one. They should be treated accordingly and held accountable for their actions. That should include seizing their assets.
