We have the ankle bracelets, and they do make a difference. I agree with the cameras, pepper spray – yes AND with basic self defense training.

A few years ago our province enacted tougher laws and measures to protect survivors of dv, now we realize that they're not tough enough. There are training programs for police and first responders, it's just not enough. Maybe there needs to be public training, we need to all look out for each other.

Sorry to hear that. Some heroes don't wear capes. She's done a great job, and I have a feeling it's with lots of help from her mum too.

To be fair, I'm not sure so many would have registered (maybe me icluded?) if it had not come out that the fascists were signing up to vote so that Carney would not get the leadership. And under these circumstances, I'd do it again.

The company has "roots" in Mtl, it does not show up in the registry (Registraire des entreprises). It's currently a US company. I looked at their website, they have no properties in Can. Do not seem to have a presence here at all. Maybe someone could dig further? The owners are Cdn (or former?).
