Presumably you're referring to this crossing that currently has🚦.

Once the Phase 3 🏘️ works begins, it's very unlikely there will be access via the gated path here for a few years.

At the moment, Temple Mills Lane is marked as C26... but is signed as both C26 + C25 in Waltham Forest (which I've never trusted for C25).

TfL's map has got better but has never been reliably accurate, e.g. C27 in Fitzrovia, Whipps Cross Roundabout, Greenway closure.

The incoming two-way cycle track on Leyton Rd is creeping closer to where the realigned C16 will turn eastwards.

🚧🚦are ready to be put to use on Monday for the Water Lane scheme to improve the C-route crossing.

Ground broken for SuDS (pic 1) at Junction 3 of the Romford Rd scheme.

Still a little bit to be completed where the road will get opened to motorists.

It looks like Garden Sq (under construction) *might* provide a usable route for 🚲 to get to the newly marked C25 on Waterden Rd.
February 8, 2026 at 10:45 PM
C25 markings have now been added along Waterden Rd.

(Unlikely that all of this section + the currently signed section of Temple Mills Lane are both C25.)

They're probably waiting for the Google HQ construction to finish before they begin implementing the planned redesign of the road.

Ongoing C51-related works on the north end of Enford St.

Marylebone Rd pavement has been redone around the junction.

The former one-way cycle link to Wyndham St (pic 4) has been removed.

One way to bypass the current road closure on New Cavendish St (for westbound C27) without needing to dismount.
February 4, 2026 at 11:17 PM
Nearby, the new contraflow cycling on Blomfield Rd finally enables a bidirectional connection between Westbourne Green and the future C51.

This was included as part of the Central London Grid plan.

The Westbourne Green Canalside project is almost complete.

Likely to eventually become a part of NCN 6.

At the C63 works along Cleveland St:

Pic 1 is the reopened narrower end of Clipstone St.

Other pics are around the current closure of New Cavendish St.

The eastern side of Connaught Sq is already signed as having contraflow cycling at one end. Seems a little premature though.

The southern end of Stanhope Place is now permanently closed to motorists.

Construction of a new cycleway (C43) is under way. Better to use the wider eastern pavement (dismount) to get around the works area.

The crossing to Hyde Park is signed as closed, but it's still being well used.

Santander Cycles has returned to Chadwell St (along C27) in Angel, but is not yet operational.

At Clerkenwell Green, there's some badly needed surface improvement works for Clerkenwell Close.

Will still be a bit cobbly though.

The 'currently dead end' future cycleway is unblocked over the bridge.

To the north of the bridge, there seems to be a dropped kerb going in for (presumably) a parallel crossing.

(One possible way that C25 will get to Waterden Rd.)
