We're of the strong opinion that not enough fantasy RPGs engage with the reality of historical professions.

Most solo TTRPGs are half-roleplay and half-writing-excercise, which is great, but as professional writers we sometimes struggle to play them without it feeling like work. So with the solo mode for Pitcrawler, we decided to try something a bit odd. Hope you have a goos time with it!
I'm not much for solo games usually, but I picked up the solo version of Pitcrawler from @macguffinandco.bsky.social this weekend and I'm really excited to try it. You're not a solo player, you're a solo GM and you must put a hapless, mute adventurer through their paces. But you must do so out loud!

Really enjoying seeing everyone posting up their Dragonmeet hauls! Unfortunately for us, the picture would mainly be a pile of snotty tissues as we've been laid low with a big post-convention cold

Nice little haul from #Dragonmeet yesterday. Not pictured, some fantasy and spicy hockey recs from @lalionnecosplay.bsky.social which will become my flight home reads 🏒

Aw, thanks! Was lovely to meet you, and thanks to everyone who swung by the stand. Really liking the new venue for Dragonmeet - onwards and upwards!

Next, if you're in the mood for a microsetting, be sure to walk by @macguffinandco.bsky.social at I3-4. They told me to tell you to have a look at their new game Pitcrawler, but I'm a little rebel so I'll tell you to also have a look at Odd Jobs, a really cool book full of microsettings.

Dragonmeet! We're over by the big S4 doors - come say hi if you're about!

Heading to Dragonmeet tomorrow? Come say hi - we'll be there all day, doing our best to sell you some cool indie TTRPGs!

NEW PATREON DROP!
This month we've put out a new adventure for Pitcrawler: DEPTHS OF THE BLOODY PITS. It's a gorey little romp full of foolish nobles, communist vampire and lots and lots of blood. Its also the first in a trilogy we're titling IDOL HANDS. Enjoy!

Second, and really frustratingly, like many other non-American companies, we're having to suspend physical shipping from our website to the US for the rest of 2025 due to the tariff situation (which would charge you an extra $80 on EVERY order).

First up, it's the last day to back this marvellous party game that Jonny and Sasha have been contributing prompts too - it's very silly, very funny and a great time!
Last chance to pledge Dungeon Tryouts on Kickstarter! www.kickstarter.com/projects/roc...

It's an unhinged party game where you pitch weird B-list heroes for quests, ft. prompts written by @danielleradford.bsky.social, @ifycomedy.com, @alinapete.bsky.social & @macguffinandco.bsky.social (1/3)

For our Fixer Upper micro-setting we had a dilemma: who could capture a vibrant alien world or quasi-sentient plants, as viewed through the lens of awakening robots? The answer was the inimitable Geo Barnett (geobarnett.com), a truly incredible illustrator and animator. #RPGArtistShoutout

Think we've run out of wonderful artists? Not even close! Today we want to shout out @eldritchrach.bsky.social The artist behind our water-logged crime micro-setting Atlantis City, she's just so good! I mean, just look!

Today's artist in the spotlight is the brilliant @avivor.bsky.social, whose work currently brings life to two of our micro-settings: Wizard's Staff and Welcome to Port Clement. If you want expressive characters (especially non-humans) there's none better!

We've always been excited for Pitcrawler to help new GMs get experience in a low-pressure environment, so this is incredibly gratifying to hear!
Just ran my 1st successful scenario thanks to @macguffinandco.bsky.social (I'm ignoring my disastrous attempt at running 5e D&D for a solo player). Really enjoyed Pitcrawler and we're both looking forward to the next scenario.

Highly recommend checking out both the game and the soundtrack.

Today's Artist We Love to Work With is the marvellous Jesse Turner (artstation.com/jouste). A great illustrator with a delightful style that managed to work well for fun toony nonsense and for moody, dynamic pieces. #RPGArtistShoutout
