hi! I create history curriculum and assessments and train history teachers in the US. I grew up in England so am also interested in education there. I have always been fascinated by the question of what we should teach--both choosing topics and thinking about which subjects should be required.

Enjoyed the post! I suspect you wanted “principAL” instead of “principLE” interestingly although we look at student work in lessons, I don’t think retrospective “book looks” really exist in the US

Harvard college almost had Lady Gaga in 2007 but her fee was just out of the budget. (And of course her fee went up drastically in the years after)

Definitely true for me! I actually think some the philosophy/media analysis videos tend to be more insightful when they are about older games. I think folks sometimes need to time to let their thoughts percolate.

The thing is if they were electrical workers or paramedics, you know Minnesotans would be handing out clothes, serving hot dishes, and rescuing cars—but they are in no mood to do that for ICE.

I had the roof repaired for the fifth time in 5 years. I am hoping it lasts this time.
