A neat tool I just came across: Viabundus, a digital road map of northern Europe 1350-1650, that lets you calculate contemporary travel routes/times. In 1500, going Amiens → Köln by horse took almost 7 days and 13 toll payments.

VVD en BBB zijn het eens: stikstofnorm moet omhoog, maar niet meteen
Er was onenigheid in het kabinet over het verhogen van de rekenkundige ondergrens voor stikstofuitstoot. Er is nu besloten om eind dit jaar de knoop door te hakken.

Graag! Ook nu in Texas vorige week 8 mensen zijn gearresteerd wegens ‘betrokkenheid bij abortus’. En nu Turning Points USA (van de vermoorde Charlie Kirk) een evenement houdt waar gepleit wordt voor de *doodstraf voor vrouwen die een abortus ondergingen*.
Ik zou het fijn vinden als mijn regering iets liet weten over hoe ze hun relatie met de VS zien nu, en in de toekomst, nu daar dagelijks mensen op gewelddadige wijze worden opgepakt door extreemrechtse gemaskerde stormtroepen.
