I didn't listen as much music as I did last year, but this list isn't very surprising. At least I had a lot of variety, because my wrapped included 616 different artists and 175 genres.

Oof, I haven't been very active here lately, have I? My motivation to draw has been very low, so I've just spend my time doodling some random doodoo. Here's a bunch of sketches from yesterday.

The worst part about this flu wasn't the fever or sore throat. It's this cough that refuses to go away. I have barely slept in two days and my muscles are starting to hurt real bad. My voice is almost completely gone too, which is pretty fun because I'm a part-time teacher.

My second internship is now done, yay. I feel like this five months long marathon of learning new stuff and working has squeezed out every bit of energy from my body, but there's no rest for the weary, because I'll return to my part-time work next week. I would love to take a little holiday though.

I'm not a miniature painter in any way, but it's fun to paint something different every now and then. These feathered serpent minis are from Mansion of Madness second edition.

I was too busy/lazy to finish this earlier, but here's another golden dragon for you. This time I wanted to try something new with the pose and drew inspiration from heralrdry. Also, screw the ruler, drawing stuff freehand is more exciting.

Look what I got today 👀 I had to wait almost a year for this boardgame to arrive here, so I really hope it's good. At least the art is pretty, and I think the mechanics have potential. I love the original Tales of the Arabian Nights too, so I can't wait to test this!

So yeah, today was my birthday. Life decided to start dropping its Oct-Nov-Dec plot twists early though, so I didn't really feel like celebrating it that much. Luckily 31st birthday isn't that big of a deal anyway.

Ah, I have so many good memories from this campaign. Luckily I'll never forget it, because I took notes and ended up with over 1 000 000 characters in my document after rewriting detailed versions after each session (we had over 60 sessions total). I still should update my character art though.

I haven't drawn much since Smaugust ended because my brain capacity is needed elsewhere. I recently started my second internship at a local newspaper, so I'm doing some actual journalism this time. Hopefully I'll be able to doodle at some point, but in the meanwhile I'll post some older stuff again.

My favourite Smaugust piece this year was definitely this one!
Smaugust 2025, day 19: map. Today's dragon is a bit extra, but I wanted to experiment a little with inks. My first thought was a star map, so why wouldn't I try something different and colorful? Anyway, I think this design looks pretty fancy.

Smaugust 2025, day 26: arrow. This themed Smaugust list have actually been pretty fun and easy to follow, because it's possible to draw so much inspiration from different objects and their shapes. I got this idea in the middle of the night and had to sketch its thumbnail immediately.

Small things that piss me off: my bike needed fixing, so it was taken to a professional for the first time in these fifteen years I've owned it. Today it was returned to me and it's worse than before. Biking is my main way to travel around, so I'm pretty irritated.
