At daycare dropoff one of the other moms had on a sweatshirt that said "Read Banned Books" so I stepped outside my comfort zone and said, "I have a t-shirt that says the same thing!" Beaming, she replied, "Really? You're my kind of person!" and it made my whole day. Besties? Nah, because #INTROVERT.

Finally! The new Barnes & Noble Brentwood is OPEN! Everyone in the family chose a book or two. I may have bought four for myself. Adding my recent RuPaul’s Book Club selection to the pile, along with my To Bee Read quarterly selections from LitJoy that arrived on my doorstep today. My poor TBR!

Finally! The new Barnes & Noble Brentwood is OPEN! Everyone in the family chose a book or two. I may have bought four for myself. Adding my recent RuPaul’s Book Club selection to the pile, along with my To Bee Read quarterly selections from LitJoy that arrived on my doorstep today. My poor TBR!

The girls enjoyed making sakura branches for this week’s Delta Discovery craft at the Big Break Visitor Center. There are not as many cherry blossom trees in California as there are in Japan but I plan to take them to see some in San Francisco this spring when they are in bloom.
