I have no idea if this was their intention but Degrassi did an amazing job showing the way that people who are at rock bottom can be brought into religion when they have nothing else and how easy it is to allow that to then warp your way of seeing the world. It’s such clear manipulation.

Been getting some pains in one of my breasts and I asked a woman I know that has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer if she felt something similar just for her to tell me I was describing her EXACT PAIN before she realized what was going on. 😅
