Awkward, random, and sarcastic. I like being creative, and learning new things.
I hate that, no matter what time I fall asleep, I ALWAYS wake up at 6am, even though I don't have to. πŸ˜…

Sometimes I just want to sleep in. 😭

Probably got at least half a dozen more comments (possibly more) since I mentioned this, and still EVERY SINGLE ONE of the Boston Markets they mention are listed as PERMANENTLY closed.

How are every single one of them wrong? πŸ˜…

Me: Boston Market is basically dead

Tons of comments: there is still one here, and here, and here, and here.

Me: I just checked. Those are all permanently closed.

Like, guys, there really are supposed to be a few locations left. If you're going to claim you know a location, Google it first. πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚

Really weird debate on a TikTok video, which shouldn't even be debated.

Did Totinos party pizza use to be round?

Yes. They 100% use to be round.

You can find pictures online from when it was round.

There are ads from the 80s & 90s on YouTube, you can see they're round.

The answers are there πŸ˜…

Between that and all the "this place still exists", but it really doesn't....

No, Hilltop steakhouse isn't still there. It's just the sign, it's a landmark.

That Strawberries in Hanson? It has no affliation with the record store that closed in 2006.

Building 19? No, that's an Ollie's.

My video title: NEW ENGLAND stores and restaurants that no longer exist.

Almost hallf my comment section: "You forgot..."

No, I didn't forget that place, because it wasn't founded in New England.

The amount of people I have telling me that this store or that store is "still around", when I know for a fact they went out of business long ago and there's no trace of them anywhere... Are they in an alternate reality? πŸ˜…

Me: *makes post about defunct New England stores & restaurants*

Commenter: Building 19 is still around.

But, it's literally not. Oh, and Ollie's took over their inventory in New England, they also use the same artist to make their ads, their whole vibe is very Building 19.

I mean, they also love beans on toast, which was created by an American company to sell more beans to British people... And it apparently worked.
January 29, 2026 at 3:12 PM
British people: hamburgers aren't American, they're German! Pizza isn't American, it's Italian!

Also British people: Chicken tikka masala is like our national dish! It doesn't matter that a Pakistani immigrant created it, they did it here and adapted to our tastes, so that makes it British!

BTW, he was 19 and had a job, he could buy his own. Anyway, the idiot goes to my mother and whines like a baby that I won't share. She simply responded, "She bought them. They're hers.", and he walked away pouting. πŸ˜…πŸ€£

I have the most random memories that come to me out of nowhere. When I was around 13 I bought myself pizza rolls, my brother comes home and sees me taking them out of the oven and asks for some, I said "no". He never shared his food with me, and there really wasn't enough to share anyway....

I'm sick of the cold. I keep trying to tell myself "it's much colder in other states", but it hasn't help me to deal with our cold weather. πŸ˜… How do they do it in states that get to like -40 something? Do they go out in that crap?

I feel like I can't trust the taste buds of people in Indy (sorry my Indy peeps). That Chinese restaurant I went to today had good reviews, and people raved about the food.

But even the food I liked wasn't something I'd rave about, and most of the food I got from them actually kind of sucked. πŸ˜…

UPDATE: Those were NOT chicken fingers. 😭 And they weren't even very good. The pu pu platter was mostly disappointing overall.

I did get a couple other things, and I did like some of the food I got.

But, once again, an Indy Chinese restaurant has disappointed me.
January 26, 2026 at 8:50 PM
Yes! I'm glad I'm not the only one who knows this. I started to feel gaslit by people telling me they all serve food. πŸ˜‚
January 26, 2026 at 1:48 PM
I looked at, I'm not even sure, endless Chinese restaurants in Indy (ok, maybe a dozen?) and I jist found one, ONE that has chicken fingers on their menu AND they have a pu pu platter as well!!!

Considering going there today. I am having a craving, lol.

There was another one in a nearby city that was basically the size of a shed, that also sold just ice cream. I only remember one location that sold food (around where I lived).

I discovered that, what seems to be a vast majority of people, think that ALL Dairy Queen’s serve food.

Guys, that’s not true. I literally lived nextdoor a Dairy Queen in Lawrence, MA, which I had gone to since I was a small child, until I moved away. It was ONLY ice cream. No food. πŸ˜…

Imagine my surprise that not every state does that. I just assumed it was normal everywhere.

Just another little bit of the culture shock I experienced moving from Massachusetts to Indiana πŸ˜‚
January 25, 2026 at 2:09 AM
Random thing I keep forgetting, from when I first came to Indy. I was looking at cars driving by, and I said, β€œHow come none of the cars have inspection stickers?”, then I had to explain that in Massachusetts our cars get inspected every year, and you NEED to have that sticker to be on the road.
