What is the tool in your #crafting kit that would irk you the most to lose?
Mine is my yarn threader. Consequently , I've lost the one out of my #knitting kit. Luckily I have a duplicate in my #crocheting kit!

Something that bothers me: the number of people who are starting out crafting who feel the need to apologize that their work isn't great; that they're just beginners.
You don't need to be an expert in your chosen hobby/craft to share your work. If there are mistakes, you don't have to apologize.

My current favorite creation is my Folklore Cardigan - it's coming in clutch with my medication-induced Raynaud's making my A/C feel like the dead of winter!

The biggest misconception I've ever encountered in #crocheting (besides the people who ask me what I'm #knitting) is the assumption that you need a lot of patience to even begin. Sure, you need it, but patience is a skill; not a "you have it or you don't." Practice and it'll come.

Been working on writing a mini adventure for a #DnD session with my young(ish) nephew and have written some dialogue that's both fun and making my brain hurt:
"Good children say thank you when given something."
"Pinch doesn't know what a 'children' is, but Pinch is a good goblin! Thank you!"

My city has an annual celebration that usually includes a fireworks display. I had hoped that the rain would prevent the fireworks, but no dice. Why? Because my dogs are terrified of fireworks. I did get one of them through it by wrapping a knitted shawl around him. My other doggo hid under the bed.
