I kept seeing this Golden Twin spot in my hotel bedroom in Tavira but was unable to release it outside Sadly I found it dead on the bathroom floor yesterday so at least honoured it with photo #mothsmatter

A record 8 Water Pipit have been colour ringed by Stour Ringing Group this winter at RSPB Lytchett. This is part of a UK scheme to find out more about Water Pipit migration across Europe.

At Springdale car park,CMullen, I noticed a bare branch on the small willow tree in front of my car. I suspected caterpillars but was surprised to find 48 very well grown Buff Tipped moth cats' clinging on and feeding in breezy conditions.Soon they will go their separate ways .#caterpillars#moths
