Another godawful thing is that Trump won the popular vote. Last time I went to Europe and told people he lost the popular “by the millions.” Trying to defend us. Now some may see his fascism as an expression of the popular will. This is beyond horrific.

Current GOP functionaries do not bring to mind the revolutionary heroes who fought British overlords. Instead they seem like a horde of Uriah Heeps, servile, unctuous toadies who debase themselves to please their master. Hard to watch this.

We’re not getting timely health updates and disease warnings from the Trump administration. It’s easy to see why. Trumps colossal failure with Covid (a million dead) has made him wary of information. And Elon won’t want to spend to vaccinate all of us.
