I know I'm a bit weird, but honestly, ending the day in my greenhouse with a couple fingers of bourbon, some Wasa crackers with Irish butter and Neil Young's Harvest album on the speakers is my idea of the perfect life. 🌱

After diligently misting the bed 3 times per day for a few weeks, the carrots are up and growing! Also, because this was a bed of cilantro last Spring and a couple went to seed... there are quite a few cilantro plants coming up as well! Hope they are good companions! (oh... and that is Pepper.) 🥕🌿 🌱

My "Fall/Winter" tomato experiment is setting fruit! Zone 10b/Coastal SoCal. Pictured: Sub-Arctic Plenty and Silvery Fir Tree. The rest : Oregon Spring, Siberia, Manitoba and New Yorker are flowering so I am hoping for fruit-set soon! Interesting note: Zero signs of blight. 🌱🍅🍅🍅🍅

Spent 3 hours just enjoying my garden today... planting seeds in bare areas, pulling tiny weeds, watering, watching the many busy ants, beatles and spiders scurry around. I'm blessed to have this little piece of paradise in my back yard. 🌱
