"HJR 73 deliberately undercuts the will of the people who worked so hard to get Amendment 3 on the ballot and the voters who passed it," says LWVMO Reproductive Rights Chair Kay Park. HJR 73 is a deceptive ballot measure the House passed seeking to overturn Amendment 3.

"Don't undermine the citizen initiative petition process," LWVMO President Marilyn McLeod told a Senate Committee on April 28. Testifying against HB 507, she said the process is already cumbersome for the people to get something on the ballot and "extra rules are unnecessary."
