UK+Ireland #Top15 Cinema Box Office (24 Nov 25) Wicked For Good reached No.1 with £18.8Million which is better than 2024's Wicked debut of £13.6Million. This has also beaten A Minecraft Movie's debut of £15Million earlier this year. Shame of the huge drop off for #TheRunningMan.

#RiotWomen #BBC 4/5. The shows creator #SallyWainwright's voice comes out so clearly through her characters as the variety of struggles that women over 40's & 50's face. While some quite serious topics are delicately handled, the show has good judgement when to introduce levity.

#Frankenstein (2025) #NetflixFilm 4/5. #GuillermoDelToro puts his stamp on the classic #MaryShelley tale to make this a worthwhile version. I did like the creature design just fine, but I felt they could have pushed it more with deformity of being made of different body parts.

#TheRunningMan (2025) 4/5. #EdgarWright stretches his muscles to make this pacey action thriller that has a mix satire. While there is a dash of Wright's humour, this film does miss his typical style. #GlenPowell is great in the role as the everyman frustrated by the bent system.

#BlackRabbit #Netflix 3/5. #JudeLaw and #JasonBateman made good brothers in trouble. Bateman was especially good as the addict brother who kept on screwing up. It was a bit repetitive of hitting road blocks, getting out of trouble only to run into more problems.

UK+Ireland #Top15 Cinema Box Office 10 Nov 25 - A healthier weekend with #PredatorBadlands debuting at No.1 with £2.3Million. Also, #TheChoral did quite well and just shy of reaching £1Million which probably has the Rememberance Sunday weekend being a big contributor to that.

#OnlyMurdersInTheBuilding Season 5 #Hulu 3/5. The mystery was a bit more meaty this time round as our main suspects appeared early on in the show. It was fun to work out their villainous plot. I must say this is the best season performance by #SelenaGomez. I also guessed killer.

#PredatorBadlands 3/5. An interesting experiment to see a #Predator as a protagonist could carry a film in this series. I would say having them as the villains works best. But this was a decent movie with nice action moments. #ElleFanning was entertaining as the damaged synth.

#StarWarsVisions Volume 3 #DisneyPlus 5/5. It was great to return to a whole season of shorts produced by talented Japanese studios putting their spin on the #StarWars world. It was also nice to return to certain characters last seen in Volume 1 like the Ronin and the 9th Jedi.
#Bugonia 4/5. A fantastic film, which certainly isn't your run of the mill kidnapping story. I was gripped throughout, and the film expressed opinions on capitalism and disconnection from society. This would've been perfect if there was some extra detail on one narrative point.

#JurassicWorldRebirth 4/5. Watching this with the lense of a mutant monster disaster movie there's alot of fun to be had with latest entry of #JurassicPark series. The story is nice and simple. New characters were distinctive & for the most part unique enough. Nicely directed.

#GenV Season 2 #PrimeVideo 3/5. I think it has to be said that the creatives did a very respectful job honouring the late #ChancePerdomo, who sadly passed after Season 1. This was quite good with the developing plot, but sometimes it felt like #TheBoys Season 4.5. Likeable cast.

UK+Ireland #Top15 Cinema Box Office 20 Oct 25. Gabby's Dollhouse: The Movie reached No.1 and was just shy of debuting with £2Million. The Black Phone 2 and 18 certificate horror did well to debut at No.2 with £1.1Million. #ISwear is holding in firm in the #Top3. #Roofman at No.6.
