#TheMuppetShow (2026) #DisneyPlus 3/5. I would have thought that this being basically a back door pilot for a new version of the classic show from the 1970's that it would have been longer than 30 minutes. Also, in terms of quality, it was ok but should have been more special.

#WaitingForTheOut #BBC 4/5. A remarkable performance from #JoshFinan that perfectly shows the range he has as an actor. The show explored a lot, toxic masculinity issues, the effects of unfit fathers, philosophy and the effects prison has on inmates. Interesting musicial score.

#GOATMovie 3/5. It's colourful, and the animation was done very well. Decent enough watch, but I believe this would be more entertaining for kids. The script wasn't strong, the jokes were lame and probably the biggest sin it committed was it lacked tension during the matches.

#Fallout Season 2 #PrimeVideo 3/5. Found the first half of this season lacked a core narrative focus due to many many story strands at play, which felt unfulfilling, especially for the Maximus character. The second half was better as we witnessed Lucy's development and dilemmas.

#KillingEve Season 2 #BBC 4/5. Took a couple of episodes to get going which I think is evident by the murders. As each ep went by the killings were more surprising. The last ep was so electric. Well done to #SandraOh & #JodieComer as the relationship become more toxic.

#TheNightManager Series 2 #BBC 4/5. It was great to have #TomHiddleston return as #JonathanPine in this well paced thriller that reached a tense ending. I would say that the return of a certain character wasn't shocking due to the title sequence and could've been handled better.

#IsThisThingOn? 4/5. (As I call it #TheJohnBishopMovie) A positive feeling drama about how to deal with a failing marriage. When it went for jokes, it largely worked, and the stand-up sequences felt authentic. I thought a sequence about bombing should have occurred earlier.

#CanYouKeepASecret? #BBC 3/5. A great concept of being mistakenly declared dead and having to maintain that story because of a life insurance payout while also dealing with a blackmailer. Plenty of good laughs throughout with a really good cast who know how to sell the story.
