Hello, everyone! This is a concept cover art for a possible project set in an alternate universe of Night in the Woods. For now, I’m experimenting on different ideas and artstyles for the story. So, the end result may be different to this one.

A similar but alternate version of Mae Borowski walks on a powerline from one wooden pole to another. The left half of the drawing is of the town of Possum Springs while the other half is of a forested area. {Story description, circa November 2024: "You came back, huh? It has been a while since we've last seen you, Margaret Borowski." . . . Three years have passed since Margeret “Mae” Borowski—the only child of the feline Borowski family—left her hometown of Possum Springs to pursue a higher education in a faraway city. During a certain spring break, she decided to return for reasons kept within the confines of her heart. However, in her absence, the town decayed into something more... sinister. Juggling between the search for a close friend who mysteriously disappeared, a multitude of strange events around crumbling Possum Springs, and a fragile state of mind, Mae would uncover dark secrets and factions that predated her birth. From carefree individuals to heartbroken souls, from silent storefronts to the whistling forest trees, one thing is certain: what will unfold will change not only Mae's life but also the lives of the townsfolk in this once-thriving American coal-mining town. *A Journey Thru The Woods* is a fan-made graphic novel that re-imagines the story of Alec Holowka and Scott Benson's popular 2017 indie game, *Night in the Woods*.}
