It was an honour to be part of the LGA Annual Conference in Liverpool this week with other Executive Mayors, Council leaders, inspiring community leaders and experts from across local government sector. There was great recognition of our innovative policies in Tower Hamlets (1/2)

We have a right to know what arms the Government is sending to Israel in our name and using our taxes while it inflicts unimaginable suffering on Palestinians.

We will continue bringing these cases to justice and we urge all councils to do the same to clamp down on rogue landlords allowing overcrowding and evade essential safety regulations.
