MTV just went dark in many countries. I remember when the channel made its debut. Can anyone remember what the first video and artist was on MTV?

For me this past year was one of heartache, hard times and struggle. But there was joy, & love, & a new beginning as well. I’ve learned to trust that by putting one foot in front of the other all will be well so I’m counting that as a win.
