Tolkien after he published The Lord of the Rings. Bilbo's Last Song (At the Grey Havens) Day is ended, dim my eyes, but journey long before me lies. Farewell, friends! I hear the call. My favourite cover of Tolkien's "The Hobbit". This is "De Hobbit", the first Dutch edition (and first paperback edition), published in 1960 by Prisma Boeken. The charming cover art is by Kees Kelfkens. I think the little green one is Bilbo!
