I was talking to somebody recently and asked if they liked a particular musician and they said they’d heard it but it was ‘a bit young’ for them. Now I don’t go around purposefully trying to be down with the kids, but if I hear something and like it I don’t think in those terms at all

Accidentally elbowed my wife in the eye which annoyed her considerably and she was like “you want hit me for long time and now you do” which made me start laughing , and then she was like “you see you happy and laughing after you hit me” which made me laugh even harder

‘Career path’ is a bit of a joke. I qualified as a secondary teacher 20 years ago, ran away from teaching within a few years, stayed away for over 15 years, fell back into it a few years ago when I desperately needed a job. Now I think I’ll keep it up till I retire/die

Around 1988 I was reading a hip magazine that had some interviews with people off the street in NY talking about their outfits. This one guy with a hip hop look said he bought his jeans four sizes too big on purpose. I thought it was a kind of cool look though not for me
