Caleb’s first Goodison game with his grandad – three generations bound by blue. As Goodison’s days fade, it’s moments like these that stay with us forever. @Everton #COYB

Calls to sack Moyes before yesterday’s game are unbelievably shortsighted. Without him, Grealish, Dewsbury-Hall wouldn’t have joined, Keane would’ve gone, and Pickford might not have re-signed. The club’s been poor for years; what it needs now is stability, not another upheaval. Get a grip.

Moyes’ Everton never passed League Cup 4th Round. Mostly because he picks a ridiculously daft first 11. Like when he played Francisco Junior and Jan Mucha when we lost to Leeds in 2012. And he rested Baines Jagielka Pienaar. Anyone remember Shrewsbury Town? I like Moyes, but not in the league cup!

Thanks for the memories, Tyler. See you next preseason.
Tyler Onyango has signed for Stockport County on a season-long loan deal.

Luis Suárez should’ve been banned from football years ago. Not surprised at all by his behaviour during yesterday’s game - grabbing a player by the throat and spitting at Seattle’s security staff after the Leagues Cup final. The reds should’ve hung him out to dry, instead they did this👇🏻

Possibly the best sports story of the year so far:
J.J. Spaun was on the verge of quitting golf last year. He had missed nine of his first fourteen cuts in the 2024 season, and his world ranking had plummeted to 169.

Díaz is offside. The pass is for him. Defender reacts. That’s interfering with an opponent. Offside by Law 11. No debate. Not sure what you’re going on about @23carra.bsky.social

A legal source tells me Burnley’s lawsuit against Everton could shake football to its core. They argue that if financial breaches justify compensation, where does it end? Could a wrongly awarded foul or a bad referee decision lead to clubs suing for lost titles or relegations? 1/2

That was a quintessential Moyes Everton performance. Full of scrap, pressing relentlessly despite the annoying missed opportunities and the fatigue they must be feeling. I still love Beto, just wasn’t his night.

I’m ashamed to say I got a bit over excited on Saturday night and had this t-shirt made 🤣🤦 - Beto’o

"It was clever by Luis Diaz to nudge the defender out of the way" - says Carragher. 🤣

Sir James Tarkowski. All is forgiven

Michael Keane should start on Wednesday. That was woeful from Tarkowski.

Third time lucky against Bournemouth, tomorrow. We lost on this day - one of the worst defeats I can remember! It’s different this time. Up the toffees.
