Stuff I Love: Donut Drive In on Chippewa in St. Louis. There are objectively better donuts to be had. But go here at 9 pm, and get one fresh out of the fryer, with the edges still crispy and the frosting still not quite set. It is the best donut experience in town, and I’ll put money on that. :)

Stuff I Love (3/3): Half Life Alyx is like walking around inside a grungy, terrifying work of art that you never want to leave.
Stuff I Love (2/3): The thrills feel more visceral, the discoveries feel more profound. And when you have a once-in-a-lifetime game maker like Valve going all-in to pack the environment full of scares, puzzles, shootouts, and wonders, you end up with something really, really special.

Stuff I Love (1/3): I’ve loved a lot of video games, but I’ve never had a relationship with one the same way I’ve had one with Half Life Alyx. Playing a game in VR isn’t just bringing it closer to your face—stepping inside a virtual environment changes the experience fundamentally.
