Some good news to wake up to, my story topped my group in @nycmidnight.bsky.social 100-word Microfiction Challenge! Meaning I am through to the final 24hr round this Saturday. This particular story was inspired by my lovely Grandad and his brother, Noel, who died aged just 22 in WWII #neverforgotten
