Lucas Munnes just provided some update on Morelloid genomes and where Solanum nigrum might have come from at #SOLRUB2025

Lucas Munnes closes this Wednesday’s session at the #SOLRUB2025 presenting about a #pangenome in the Morelloid clade. Different species have different levels of polyploidy with S. nigrum being highest (6x). Synteny with S. americanum (2x). For nigrum subA ~ americanum. subB & subC ~ villosum (4x).
