Ten percent of Meta's revenue is from scams and illegal content. I hate them so much.
Meta is earning a fortune on a deluge of fraudulent ads, documents show
Meta projected 10% of its 2024 revenue would come from ads for scams and banned goods, and it internally estimates that its platforms show users 15 billion scam ads a day, company documents show.

Samsung, Google, and Xiaomi are all trying to develop contextual assistants based on AI. Meanwhile in Cupertino: look, you can now hang your iPhone on your backpack next to your Labubu.

Somehow, I doubt “the EU” is still so proud of this co-funding.

That’s a rather peculiar line of reasoning from the UK representative: since the crypto bros are throwing money at Web 3.0, we should apparently respond by wedging “the blockchains naming spaces” into the DNS root. #IGF2025

Musk already concentrates enough real power in his hands. There’s no need to make some up. Starlink isn’t the only satellite ISP. There are Viasat and Hughesnet, and even a French one oneweb.net #IGF2025

Well, that was reassuring. The OpenAI representative wrapped up a session on safety in innovation by declaring that AI is already smarter than us. Nothing like a casual existential threat to end on a high note. #IGF2025

That’s an odd one. Numerous registries are offering (selling) IDN domain names, but their mail servers are not compatible with email, including non-Latin addresses.
Universal acceptance starts at the root.

Jorge Cancio is right. The issue isn’t so much the split of participants into tracks but the absence of joint sessions between those. IGF could look at ICANN to see how to do it. #IGF2025
