we aim to quantify the impact of depression on the life expectancy of the Brazilian population with hearing impairment. Our results show that young women with severe hearing impairment are the population group that requires special attention due to the strong effect of depression on life expectancy.

Last week, I had the opportunity to participate in the Workshop on Artificial Intelligence for Malaria and Infectious Disease Modelling at IMECC/Unicamp. It was an excellent event. I had the chance to exchange experiences and get new insights. I hope this Workshop happens every year.
