Norlod 🧵
As mentioned in prior posts, both Norlos and Rothians protected magical beings throughout the wars.
Its riddled with mountains, glaciers and dense forests.
Huge caverns. Thick ice walls. Harsh winters.
Easily defendable from outsiders

Procrastinated with minor flags long enough🧍
Let's talk about that east👑

Couldn't talk about the 'east' until I made more flags🧍
But may have made too many🧍
What has I done🧍

Last of the west lands are the two northen islands.
-Blakrost is an island of black sands and ice.
Nesting place of The Black Frost, a huge bird of prey with a white spotted belly and black feathers. A bird that rivaled the dragons of old.
Better against the cold.

The lands of Roth. Forged of blood.
Just like royals pushed magic south toward the Frontier, they also pushed it north. Both Roth and Norlod, to the east, are the last northen barriers that protect magical beings, and creatures.

West of Lymece are the lands of Vaster 💰
It combined some of the last royals that escaped the great revolution from the west, and of the frontier. And people from the east that sought new lands of opportunity.
It contains one of the greatest cities of my world.

"Something you absolutely LOVE about your world, but have no clue how you’re going to bring it up!"

-Unfortunately the deity mentioned bellow passed in Morr's war. The darkness blocked out the stars. And they were forced to join in the fight.

The Regions of Lymece
Until the end of the second war, Lymece was the most powerful northen nation. Whose currency ruled all.
They controlled the sea, the shipping lanes.
And it's their greed that led to the wars.

Major pain in the arse but I've finally fixed my east-north ;;-;;
Such better🥺

Marbesa's redness progressively ends the further you go from its center. Toward the east, it becomes savana. To the great plains of Threin.
A vast territory of flat grasslands. Where you can go hours on horseback before seeing any hint of a mountain on the horizon.

I however love how the Orken territories now look sick (diseased).
The orks are forced nomadics, from past wars and their lands deteriorating.
The map now reflects it :D

Made changes to the western side, it now doesn't look as empty👍
Unfortunately it is still my least explored region ;;-;;

Found back an old map-progress pic from a year ago.
Seven hells-
It wasn't the worst, I'll reuse parts of it in the future.
But, it had forgotten its goals💀
The sea in the middle was too narrow for naval warfare to work. And the Frontier was a sad "rectangle" at the bottom...🤨

Marbesa
Meaning Red Mother, it is made of vast flat lands whose near endless red canyons protect its people. A hidden maze, beneath a great plateau, a world of its own.
Its recourses are mineral, in exchange of which Veceri and Threin provide other earthly needs.

My first map was of The Flower Path.
Came from a dream. A long river, with blooming trees on each side, whose leaves and flowers reached the water.
Depending on your state of mind, the river had the potential to lead you to your destiny, or make you serpentine through eternity...

Speaking of airport, we can fly up north, finally-
Starting with the Westlands, that kickstarted my world.
The true north is old, and like the Frontier protected its magic, for eons.
But its south was unfortunately colonized, when eastern kingdoms expanded...

Last Frontier stop before moving back north🍁
Wesboro is deep within a dense jungle, at least from the sea.
Frontier side it's the second best airport🗺️
In this era there are no airplanes yet no. But there are airships,
powered by Lýȯr, a magic stone from beyond the frontier.

Aelurr:
►The blue is for the rivers deep beneath the sands, that with wells allowed its people to survive.
►The red is for the blood spilt over the centuries, that lead to Aelurr's sovereignty.
►The moon is their guide, illuminating their paths through the long nights.

As stated, most of the Frontier was once connected.
This however changed, when royalists found out about the underground river and blew up a section of it.
They used Mrȧl to do so, a powerful magic stone.
This blocked off Belyrr's easy access to the west, and isolated Aelurr.

Might aswell continue through the Frontier⏳
-Belyrr made great use of the underground river, having built a city whose walls still stand a millennia after. The last of the old cities.
It was sieged multiple times in its long life, but (...)

Gensani used to be great allies of the Khyaeran people.
When the North's war on magic ravaged Gensani, alot of its refugees fled downstream to Khyaera. Where they'd try to repel the invasion, but eventually all Khyaeran cities were destroyed...
Forcing its survivors to nomadism.

Some of the most affected by these slave mines were Shabilonians.
Shabilon was a nation built by refugees, who used a crumbled section of the mountainous wall that separates the North from the Frontier as their home.
It protected them from fauna, but not other humans...

Now, Seor's canal:
It didn't always exist, but the Seori people begged the gods for a way to cross the sands and avoid its dangers.
And they delivered, by splitting the lands.
The rush of water also created an underground river, that passes beneath over half of the Frontier.🐫
