This article tries to scare people away from VPNs. If the government didn’t spy on citizens, people wouldn’t need them. And it’s ironic for Google to call VPNs “spyware” while constantly tracking users and sharing data with government agencies.

It was never about deporting criminals—that was always a lie. Immigration detainees don’t even have the basic rights that convicted felons receive, and the system is rife with clear human-rights violations.

Most of the policy Democrats and Republicans sell are hardly practical, but are designed to make you feel good. This does not mean they are good. Libertarians advocate for practical policy.

Libertarians believe only you can truly decide how to live your life, and so long as it doesn't violate others ability to decide how to live their lives, then you are free to be yourself.

“People shouldn’t fear their government; governments should fear their people” reminds us that true power flows upward through consent, not downward through control. Like V for Vendetta, rising censorship, surveillance, and apathy show liberty fading when citizens stop paying attention.
