After reading the NYT article referencing people's reaction to an "American Pope", ie that the people of this hemisphere are ALL "Americans", the Trump administration should rethink changing "Gulf of Mexico" to "Gulf of the Americas", because that's more geographically and politically accurate.

The year+ in education that was lost due to Covid will pale in comparison to the years of history being deleted by this administration. That's a lot of basic truths not being taught. Those students may never catch up, and may become part of the misinformed, low-information electorate. Woe to US.

5. I apologize, but we would have to learn to be less polite.
6. We would have to give up the national right to an abortion.
7. We would have to learn to mistrust our immigrants.
All in all I think, with all due respect, that most Canadians would prefer to stay just that.
