it feels like i get my shit together and something else comes to take over my mental space. it’s been really hard processing this and i feel guilty for not continuing the pursuit of law school. sorry for the sad posts but i guess i just want to be told somehow it’ll be okay even if it’s not true.

i used to get made fun of that all my family lived in one house and honestly i never cared or thought a lot of that. what a privilege it is to live with your village. and now my village is being torn apart. if you have close family, don’t take them for granted and the ability to be with them freely

i used to watch harry potter with my mom and i remember going to the movies with her to watch them. it felt really special and it’s a memory from my childhood i keep bc she always encouraged my reading and wanted to bond that way since she couldn’t read english — rewatching HP and thinking of that

i think people are capable of change but you shouldn’t ask the people who they hurt to forgive or accept them. if they really did/do change then they will do it without seeking acceptance bc at the end of the day that change should be so you can be a better person overall, not to seek forgiveness
