How Oilers, and NHL, could effectively use ECHL as a development league
There's no doubt that talented hockey players who turn pro would be best served by playing a lot.

Oilers dump and chase=losses, the third and fourth line are a disaster and the kid line got fed. The good news? The Condors have players this year! Like, you know, several!

The Bitterest Pill

My sincere year-end thought isn’t an original one, but its importance has been underscored to me repeatedly over the last 12 months: be free with telling the people you love that you love them, casually, and at every chance. Great love, small love, every type of love.

The Oilers are a championship quality team when 97 and or 29 are on the ice. Edmonton is an expansion team without them. Kris Knoblauch has the pieces to deploy a quality third line, but the needed pieces play on the top two lines. What will he do?

The Oilers are in need of a throwback No. 3 line. The kind that brings skill, grit and defensive acumen. A Marchant line, a Peca trio. Here's a look at how they could get there.
