A tribute to my beautiful, sweet, funny, remarkable wife, Linda Weide. After 28 years of bliss, she passed on Dec. 25, 2022. She's still the best thing in my life. -Robert Weide

A Parisian tea room, 2005. Could this woman have been any cuter? 😍❤️🥰

27 years ago today. I never stopped looking at her like this. How lucky I was, to find the one whom my soul loved.

Just ran across this photo. What I would give to pinch those cheeks, to kiss that face again - to hold her so tight she couldn't possibly disappear again.

When I got on a Delta flight to NYC yesterday, I didn't know I'd be able to spend time with this good looking Babe. And yes, I'm sentimental enough that I paused an image on the monitor so I could look at her all through the flight.

Linda never had a birthday party as a kid. And when we were together, birthdays were always low-key. In 2018, soon after her diagnosis, I decided to throw her a surprise birthday party, and pulled it off without a hitch. Here's the big moment. 7 years ago, today. Feb. 18, 2018. Volume up.

Linda and I used to buy cards throughout the year to give each other when the occasion arose -- birthday, anniversary, etc. I still put cards on her nightstand for her, just as I always did... (1/2)

My funny valentine
Sweet comic valentine
You make me smile with my heart.

Don't change your hair for me
Not if you care for me
Stay, little Valentine, stay
Each day is Valentine's Day.

This year, the 8th night of Chanukah corresponds with the second year of Linda's yahrzeit, which on the Jewish calendar, falls on the 2nd of Tevet. So 10 candles tonight. Let there be light -- for all of us. Happy New Year.

On New Year's Eve, 97/98, I had a lot to drink and asked Linda Bates to marry me. According to her, she said yes. And on July 11 of '98, we went through with it. Without a question, the best decision I ever made. Xmas marked two years that she's been gone, but she's still the best thing in my life.

People often feel bad when they learn that Linda died on Xmas Day. But as her survivor, I appreciate that the anniversary is on such a quiet, peaceful day. The phones stop ringing, there are no obligations, and I can just think about her all day. We always liked the holidays...the music... (contd)

A certain portion of my Twitter following joined me after an L.A. Times tribute I wrote to my late wife Linda went viral, after her passing on Christmas Day, 2022. This page is dedicated to her. For my first post, this is the tribute that got so much attention. Click to enlarge. ❤️
