Yesterday I emailed Toys R Us for confirmation their store in Charlottetown is closing (one of 8 stories I chased from our radio news desk).

2024 was one of the warmest on record in the Maritimes.
For the fifth consecutive year, the region experienced temperatures which ranked into the top 10.
And those top 10 warmest years are now almost exclusively from 1999 or later.
