Encouraged a family to appeal a CHC decision, it went all the way to the Independent Review Panel but they have found the person had a primary health need and should have been eligible for CHC. I nearly cried reading the email, the family have been fantastic advocates #socialwork

Helped one of my team challenge a decision not to provide temp housing to a homeless young man this week. Today she put me forward in good news stories for my help and teaching her not to give up. I’ve had a lovely message from our principal social worker in response #socialwork

Don’t even recognise myself anymore!! just spent the last hour getting up close and personal with some very spiky bushes / shrubs that are next to my house, litter picking. Who even am I?! On a serious note stop being litter bugs people!

It really is the little things in life that make you smile. After not having a window cleaner for months, my new one has been today and my windows are so clean and shiny 🫧🧼 (i’m easily pleased 😂)
