This last 2 weeks I’ve read Vicious By VE Schwab. A friend recommended it. I found it grim although it was clever & well written. It’s no Addie Larue! LR01 by Pete Snyder was the perfect antidote, a gem. I absolutely loved it! Currently really enjoying My Friends by Frederick Backman #BlueBrewBooks

Just finished “The Ministry of Time“ by Kaliane Bradley, and I’m utterly bereft. Starting “The Glass Hotel“ by Emily St.John Mandel, who is becoming one of my favourite authors. Next up “Drive your Plough Over the Bones of the Dead“ by Olga Tokarczuk. More in alt… #BlueBrewBooks

Next up “Drive your plough Over the Bones of the Dead“ by Olga Tokarczuk. I’ve read many book samples this weekend, and this is the first that’s grabbed me. I’d read it now if I could! It was recommended by the author Saba Sams in the Guardian as being “kooky, fun and strange” and as a book to give to vegan friends.
