The message was clear: ‘we are going to use the military in Us cities we don’t like. If you won’t do what we say, your career is over.’ Delivering that message, and making it serious by disrupting the entire military all over the world to do it, was the point of this dictatorial power move.

10. Bonus question: Is the $400 million airplane from Qatar a gift to the United States for every future president to use, or a gift to Trump for his own personal use? (It’s a personal gift because he’ll get to use it after he leaves the presidency.)

What’s really happening with these ‘dumb’ tariffs? Does Trump want the economy to crash so all of his debt reissue will be cheaper? Or is it more like Ukraine extortion everywhere, and the way out for our allies is to promise to funnel money to his businesses? My guess, the latter. flip.it/OdagIj

It's not a bad idea to go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy lots of consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for, buy before they have to replenish inventory.

Even if it's made in the USA , they will jack up the price and blame it on tariffs.
