In the "off-season", I had some time to properly hobby, and close out some ongoing projects.

Like this Khorne Bloodbound #warcry warband that came 3rd and won favourite warband at the Warcries in the West tournament in Bristol :)

@a2ndchapter.bsky.social was the first person I spoke to about running my first Warcry tournament ever, and his encouragement and guidance through it is what built our confidence to create WorldCryUK in its current iteration.

This episode is a great view into organising events at the TTS scale!

I've been so busy I've forgotten to post here!
End of September the #WorldCryUK season of tournaments ended with LGT Lord of the Eightpoints as our last event of the year.
Last year #warcry had about 8 events in the UK all year. This year, we put on 7 just by ourselves, on top of other events.

The tournament packs for Road to Defiant are out!

The Road to Defiant starts with our Glasgow event on the 12th of July, a 3 round tournament, with our photobooth setup to get photos of your painted warband, a streaming setup and the wonderful terrain setups expected! (cont)

The next Warcry tournament is July 12th in Glasgow, the Road to Defiant! It is a local one, so it is perfect for casual players dipping their toes into trying matched play!

It is a standard WorldCryUK tournament, and that means there will be a photography booth to take awesome pictures (cont)

Hey hey, won a Warcry tournament in wonderful Aberdeen! Had a lot of close calls this year, lots of top 5s and its good to have a proper win to close the year! Will be probably retiring Blades of Khorne for now and moving in the direction of some IJ for a while.
