36 people – 33 men & 3 women – died in gold mines in resistance-held Singu, Mandalay after the quake.

80 injured - 9 severely, including 3-year-old girl.

Thanks to NUG for quick responses to my enquiries.

Difficult access hampers other mine assessments in the region atm.

HUGE news for the Chin resistance in western #Myanmar: the CNDF and its allies have successfully captured the former Chin capital Falam -- I've being told by multiple sources.
