I start work early on a Wednesday and the sou d of the dawn chorus at this time of the year never tires. The sou d of nature and the rumbling traffic but just for a few mins you can hear only the birds. Hope you all have a lovely day. x

I see the same couple most mornings on my walk to work... we don't know each other's names but we always share a "good morning" or a "have a nice weekend". It's lovely.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a taboo of its time when it was written in 1899 and caused a huge scandal because of nits treatment of female sensuality... wounded by this, she wrote very little afterwards.

RIP the excellent and wonderful Tom Lehrer... excellent star of comedy and music and making both work together. He quit music and he gave all his songs to the public and didn't even take a penny. We love him... and the girls love him.
