Stars by Hear'n'Aid - Twisted Sister-tastic Heavy Metal does Band Aid charity fundraising famine relief single with about twenty seven million guitar solos and the baffling presence of an entirely straight-faced Spinal Tap in the great big choir bits.

Star Turn/Star Turn Challenge - Children's BBC's celeb parlour game smackdown fronted by Bernard Cribbins in the guise of notion-having deerstalker-adjusting detective Ivor Notion. Oddly forgotten now for a show with so many none-more-seventies guests.

Atomic Man and Bullet Man - avowedly catching on-averse attempts at updating and expanding the Action Man range with a sort of copyright-skirting Six Million Dollar Man clone and Jet Age-helmeted sort of superhero possibly. The Intruder had scant cause for concern.

Round The Twist - often quite literally down under sitcom about lighthouse-dwelling Pete, Linda and Bronson Twist and their weird encounters with reverse-doubles, pants-losing ghosts, all too effective magic lipstick and scatalogically defensive seagulls.

Monday Morning 5: 19 by Rialto. One of those Britpop-era singles that sounded like it was going to be a massive hit but possibly arrived a little too late in the day and well after the backlash had started. Still sounds mighty though. Other lost belters?

Logan's Run the spinoff TV series. No it's not as good as the movie, but for many youngsters it was the first they knew of the franchise and they accepted and enjoyed it on face value. The same goes for a lot of similar spinoffs that get sneered at now.
