Helixftr is returning to the browser as Helixftr Deluxe! Patrons of either my or Alsnapz's Patreon have early access while work progresses, then it will be free to the public once it is finished. Currently, it only has The Gryphon.

If you look at it as if people were trying to push you to do something, you'll never want to do it. I think it would be good for me personally, as it'll help eventually with game stuff. It may not be as beneficial for you. However, it is possible to discover new things you like.

Alright, new video card acquired, installed, and working. At least that's one less thing to worry about. I got a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 for about $400. Curious to see what it can do, though I don't care a lot about PC gaming or being bleeding edge.

The end of S2E7 is actually chilling. I have to give credit to the writers for making a character who's a joke and a punching bag, yet I respected the hell out of them. #fallout

I never played any of the games, but I read the (first?) book as a kid and it's actually something I think about constantly when working on video games. They're programming worlds.
Maybe I should actually give the games a shot sometime.

It looks like my graphics card is on its way out and I need to get a new one before it dies or I'm going to be in some trouble. Thing is, I know almost nothing about video cards. Does anyone have any advice?

I've looked into other options, but nothing else quite fully matched what I needed. I'm thinking I'll export into Lottie Files JSON format, which could also be edited by several existing editors.

I shouldn't be working on this yet, but the recent Animate scare reignited my interest in making my own editor for Helixftr Deluxe. This is still a long time out, but maybe making an editor won't be quite as difficult as I imagined. Maybe.

I had planned for Helixftr Deluxe's reliance on Animate to only be temporary because I had a feeling something like this would happen, but I hoped it wouldn't be this soon. The project should be fine for the immediate future, but it's still a bummer for this to happen just as it's almost finished.
