* if you make a picture frame 0.6mm thick it'll warp. duh, dunkass
* it's important to draw the 3d thing from head-on first so it makes sense in 2d, then project to mesh plane in blender
* the transition seam is worse when perpendicular. might require a multilayer 2d print to hide?
