Evil Bill performance during an in-house artist talk for my cohort at the November 2024 Wedding Cake House artist residency. I had to sit with a face mask of lotion for an hour to remove the $1 lipstick I covered my face with.

One of my day jobs is assisting WI artist Jennie Bastian in engineering/constructing, painting, & installing her work. In Life Shroud I painted & heat sculpted PVC pipe to create the bustle-inspired structure. In Spoon Rest, I engineered & installed an illuminated display into found-furniture.

Asked spur of the moment to operate the tail of artist Hattie Grimm’s huge bird puppet, which took 4 people total to activate at the Lynden Sculpture Garden’s annual Winter Carnival. Hattie’s father said I had good form and dads’ positive appraisal is my preferred currency.

If every artist, staff + board member, & professional in the MKE Art Scene RIGHT NOW spoke up about the *money laundering, manipulation, classism, exploitation, racism, transphobia, and deep ties to conservative-controlled money + power* they saw there could actually be change for the better.
