So pleased we went this morning to see the Bluethroat at South Gare as it was showing really well. A bit chilly but well worth a visit. Video a little Shakey start and finish but otherwise ok. youtu.be/fjVV-w8jyms @teesbirds.bsky.social @nybirdnews.bsky.social

The Blackcap feeding on the apples today in the garden of the cottage we are staying in. It was here in April when we came and lovely to see it again now. (If it is the same bird that is!) A wet day but the Cresties still made an appearance. #Dulnainbridge #highlands @teesbirds.bsky.social

Feed the birds and they will come. The feeding station was empty when we arrived but it didn't take long before the coal Tits and at least 2 Cresties arrived once the sunflower hearts and peanuts were supplied. @teesbirds.bsky.social

Well, I didn't expect to see one of these today - Pechora Pipit at South Shields this afternoon. A very tough bird to see, and showed mainly in flight, but it did show well on a couple of occasions... a proper mainland mega, and a lifer for me. #UKBirding #NEBirding
