I love New Orleans. I love training here. I love my patients. This city does not deserve this attack. The strength and resiliency this city must consistently display is beautiful but occurs too frequently. It deserves peace, rest, justice, and joy. Not this.

I gave my cat an insecure/anxious attachment style by working in the hospital every day, leaving for away rotations, and pursuing medicine. 🥴 I can't imagine what I'd do to an actual child 😅
